ceremony

i'm using this song to set the mood for my color theory final project. the purpose of our project was to take something from nature/taken over by nature, and camouflage the item into our painting. We then have to take a song to set the mood for our entire painting (and an artist that inspired our design). I chose a piece of bark that I found on the ground that had amazing lines and contrasted the grittiness of the object with very sharp geometric designs in my painting, using dark woodsy colors. I'm also trying to throw in less harsh details to give it a more natural look but it's tough. Also, trying to make the chunky piece of bark disappear using color is kind of a nightmare. Thank god I'm not a painting major, i'd be lost. Almost done though.
