joanna newsom's new album "Have One on Me" is being released on February 23rd and I'm considering pre-ordering it. I've heard two tracks from it so far (listen for free here, to songs '81' and 'good intentions paving company', both are great.) and i'm in love. Her voice is a lot less 'sing songy' and 'cartoony' like it usually is, which is something that you grow to love anyway. i can't wait to hear the whole thing. her music is just so dream-like and transports you to another realm. seriously!
